London's Court of Appeal ruled on Friday that Pfizer ( NYSE : PFE ) and its German partner BioNTech (NASDAQ: BNTX ) failed to overturn a previous ruling that their COVID-19 vaccine infringed Moderna (NASDAQ: MRNA ) patents.
The High Court had previously ruled that a Moderna patent related to messenger RNA (mRNA) technology was valid and that Pfizer and BioNTech's Comirnaty vaccine infringed the patent.
